Ian's a great guy to deal with and makes fantastic fuzz. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

ok I'm back for more FUZZZ)))!!!
still hooked and deadset on the double beat, which should be called the double beast.
so filthy, but capable of being sweet too under the filth. then add some other fuzzis on top, holy schmokes.
found the plum crazy version and like the tone options they added for more variations than the switch.

and found this forum where people have experimented with various designs, of them being the above and also adding a pre-gain knob to tame the beast so I would assume stacking would be easier.
my dream double beast would be having the tone controls [pre-gain/treble.bass/mids] tied to a separate footswitch, so that you could have either stock or your knob settings available immediately. but hey, that's me.

what do you think this fuzz around the ten minute mark might be?
so rad! especially with all the delay and reverb going on.

I would loooooooooove to be able to do the EXACT tone from "Incense & Peppermints", but I don't think there's just one pedal that can do it. You gotcher Peppermint Fuzz, which is named after the damn song, but I don't know... the demos don't seem to be all that close.
I've had two Maestro Fuzztone FZ-1S reissue, and didn't keep 'em because I'm dumb. But those sounded good. I just need that like... uh... very specific EQ sound.

after doing some experiments last night, its' been a while...
yeah think I need a maestro FZ-1S.
the fuzz stang is weird, but not really sure we've bonded yet.
the supercollider is thick thunder from down unda,
but with the LED switch almost sounds better than the iron pig rat clone I have???
but the germanium option on the iron pig is pretty tasty at lower gain settings.
getting off topic as I do.
the blue box is a beast, but still one of many flavors needed.
the pharaoh is cool but not really sure I've found it's sweet spot yet for me.
so I really still have my eye on a FZ-1S, Double Beat, Companion Fuzz, Orpheum type (Mahoney?)
and so many others I need to try. and others I've sold to get back again.
