They're $225, cheaper than many beasts and more versatile too!

Thanks for suffering and making those demos, Syl, it's appreciated! Just curious, is the gain dimed on your direct demo?
Regarding background noise, the Elements definitely has some! I've tried to keep the majority of the noise and unruliness on the last half of the gain knob in the high gain mode. In both my videos the gain knob is around noon and the background noise is really minimal. As you turn the gain knob up though, more noise.. and depending on your signal chain and your pickups and how how your amp is, maybe even more noise... that kinda thing is up to each user though and with all that gain on top you're gonna be able to make some noise in some settings, depending on various factors, you know.
In the high gain video the gain was set to max... the noise you hear in the backgroung has nothing to do with the pedal... it's my recording setup... the volume is too loud (for my poor sound card) and I was near the monitor with the guitar when recording.
I just wanted to show how much gain tha pedal was capable to handle.

Right on, Syl, I figured it was dimed and I also figured that background noise was pretty normal for it being dimed... I'm ok with that too, that much gain should be a little unruly when dimed, it's a distortion pedal after all!

Didn't mean to offend anyone with my comments about the white noise...turns out most of it was the speakers.
Although I expected the super high gain stuff to have some noise with it, I'm wondering how my AC15C1 will play with it, because it's been quite finicky with some pedals, especially high gain distortion and fuzz.
Ah hell, it's too pretty not to try it out.

Physically and otherwise.
We should all be shamed as we stand in the shadow of his grandiose pulchritude!
My big worry is that people will get the pedal in the box, open it up and see the manual, and then leave the pedal in the box while they only enjoy the manual, never even plugging the pedal in.
I've already received emails from several cathedrals in Europe that want to replace their old painted ceilings with Elements manuals.
Ahh, yes. The Sistine Elements Chapel. I believe we read about that in school.
I'm confused though. You can play with pedals? I've just been buying them to read the manuals for years now. Interesting change of events!

Trust me....this thing has more than enough dirt with the gain control set to only half. There is a bit of noise with the gain dimed but not as much as that video leads us to believe. I LOVE it for a boost, lite od and full on heaviness. Such a versatile pedal. It is not noisey at all and with all of the clipping options and controls you can have any sound you want. It also plays well with my fuzzes. I think a proper demo needs to be made! Ryan's demo with teh Slayer setting is insane. Love it. Use that one for reference.

I don't have the best setup to do demo.
I hope Prymaxe Vintage will do a pro demo (like they did with the trem).

Not only are they are fun to look at, but I know that Ryan also prints them out and fashions them into suits.
He's a trend setter, that Ryan.

I'm thinking about purchasing 1000 Elements... so I could cover my walls with the manual...

Do the sensible thing: Burn down whatever building you currently live in and erect a new glorious abode with nothing but Doc Sci manuals.
I should win the Nobel Prize for kick-ass ideas.
Also, $800.

(I'm kidding but doesn't that sound just like their live tone on Decade of Aggression?? :p )
I don't think any offense has been taken by anybody about anything in here, not noise or demos or anything, we're all alright!
Demos are like snow flakes, every one is unique and special and we're lucky to have them and I watch every one of them with a big smile.
Jesse and Syl, I'm really glad you guys are liking your pedals!

Later boners, I've got trends to set.. they're like big bear traps that you have to pull down, and they're all over the place... *scary music*
