my amp is an old late '60's early '70's Gunn (NZ made) with 2 inputs, pretty much one is bass and the other for guitar, but i mainly use the bass side as its got a good low end, the 2 side is modeled after a blackface fender, has awesome clean but as soon as you put distortion in front its instant black metal, whereas the bass side is brutal chug material

Sounds terrific!

Gunn, huh? I'll have to study a bit.
Anyway, the moral of the stry is: BUY AN OLD TUBE AMP - IT WILL TURN OUT GREAT! Preferably from a remote small town guitar store or the pawn shop where You can find forgotten treasures.

good luck, theres not much info on them. it was originally 50w but has been modded to 100w with 2x 6550's
only starts to break up at around 4-5 on the volume, but thats feckin loud, i have it on 1 at band practice, and got it up to just over 2 when we played a pub gig with out it miced up. loves pedals
i did have to get a choke installed in it as apparently the modern production valves dont like the 700 odd volts to the plates that they were getting

(3 pairs of kt88's later

)
heres a pic for ya

and yes that is a small 4x12
