This has the potential to be extremely awesome. Especially when the parties listed as involved will all turn out several cartridges a year.

What's more is that the cartridges should be very easy to trade, the 2 stock ones aside, provided that the price doesn't differ (much) per manufacturer. They should also be small enough to fit a padded envelope which will cut down on shipping costs and help avoid customs for those that have to deal with that.

Once the modulation part takes off it will be time for over sized consoles with an infinite amount of slots.

Okay... I'm awake again.

Anyone got questions, feel free to shoot them my way now... I'll be on the net for the next hour.

Well then I might as well ask the creator.

Will the cartridges be copies of existing circuits from builders? Or will they be unique and limited to the Console? Or both?

People who already own a buttload of pedals might have trouble seeing the point in having a console and why would people ever want to buy another pedal ever again once they have this? (Not necessarily a bad thing just curious)

My cartridges will be component for component copies PLUS the addition of two extra controls since my standard fuzz line up only have two controls at this point. :)

I'm pretty sure the other pedal makers are going to be doing variations, or completely new designs.

I eventually will be releasing completely new circuits as well, and am most likely going to look into variations of the more popular dirt circuits on the market (Tube Screamer, Tone Bender, SuperFuzz, Big Muff, etc).

Can you give a guarantee somehow that several developers will participate and there will be carttridges available for some time.. Cause just like with real consoles succes is based on the quantity, quality of the releases and the time that it will be available..

In the middle, past the only part I was worried about, which is finding the proper connector for the job. :)

Console is going to be standard 1590bb sized at this point. Cartridges are going to be about 2" x 1.5" at this point as well.

Should have more concrete details on both by next week.
