HOW DID YOU GET THIS STROKE STYLE?
It is fantastic. Do you pencil it before you paint, or do you just start something and it just happens to turn out that way?

No pencils.
We usually use Decocolor oil-based paint pens in a bunch of different tip sizes. Certain color combos layer well, some don't at all (so you have to plan ahead to leave any negative space you'll need later), and others layer in really interesting ways that takes some getting used to. It's not the easiest medium to use for anything too detailed, but its fast, strong and has no clean up so it works well for us since we do so many every week.
