Great stuff here. And I love the little pop-over preview thing that that Flickr aggregator gives ya. Super nice.

I got some cool new Mantra lids posted today. Just broke the 1000 images mark posted so far.

SKULL MANTRA, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Dude, your painting skills are awesome (especially the bird one). I need to learn that kind of stroke style.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Looks a bit more like Australopithecus to me.

HOW DID YOU GET THIS STROKE STYLE?

It is fantastic. Do you pencil it before you paint, or do you just start something and it just happens to turn out that way?

No pencils.

We usually use Decocolor oil-based paint pens in a bunch of different tip sizes. Certain color combos layer well, some don't at all (so you have to plan ahead to leave any negative space you'll need later), and others layer in really interesting ways that takes some getting used to. It's not the easiest medium to use for anything too detailed, but its fast, strong and has no clean up so it works well for us since we do so many every week.

This. It's those little things that are really cool.
