That got me thinking... Maybe Simon Tong uses it for the "Thunder" on Kingdom of Doom!

Seems like it ! I know that there's a number of Raveonettes' tracks where they used reverb in percussive manner.

WAAAAAAAY to much zvex
and i love how jack white coordinates his pedal boards with his bands...
