I'd hang onto that thing. I have a drip edge Twin and love it, but I wish it was a Super.

I mean really... it's not that big, it's not that heavy, and they're not that fragile. Plus, one thing that an old amp like that doesn't really have is unfixable problems, which you can't always say about what you'll find inside of a JC.

I know plenty of people will disagree with me on that, but :idk:

Interesting, is it possible to mute or easily disconnect the speakers when you record with the lineout?

It doesn't look like it, I'd be afraid running it without a load as well. Perhaps you could run the phones out to a TRS/Y cable and record stereo that way? Something I'm very curious about.

Touche, should be able to unsolder the terminals and maybe add the little shovel type connectors.


Edit* The closer I look, it seems like it may already have them??

Yeah, no load should be no issue whatsoever. Chances are record stereo is as simple as put in dummy 1/4" adapter (assuming phones shut off speakers like normal SS amp) and use the line out.
