I think part of my feelings toward venerated bands like the jesus lizard is my total hatred towards all the punk boys with "good taste" who used to be assholes and mock me for having not listened to important bands a through z. The Jesus Lizard wasn't what it was hyped to be.

And generally having collaborated with some of those people? And yeah, i love a lot of goth and industrial and metal. It weirds me out how easily extreme music has been tied to extreme politics, on either side of the spectrum. Though I am vastly more tolerant of the stuff on the left.
