i ended up ordering a twosome and a pigtronix class a boost to nudge it to around the $430 mark which then gave me no shipping charge, i would of liked to mayby have bundled a keeley katana boost with it but i figured the pigtronix is just as good, and it saves $70 for something more substancial for something like a 10 channel looper switch :D

(can also chuck the pigtronix onto the 18v switch that i will have spare on my dunlop dc brick m237 )

Maaaaaaaaan... I always figured I could do a LOT of damage with the BE Dual Fuzz. Like the version where you can switch the order. Is that the "Very Special"?

Never even tried one. Don't know if I ever will.

Yup. The VST or SST can have both effects on at once and switch their order in the signal path.

I just watched a bunch of demos for the 'Buss and the Musket... and even though I dig germanium, and am intrigued by the hybrid circuit of the 'Buss, the Musket seemed to have an edge as far as tones that I really like and could use sexily.

I know there were only 100 of the VSTs made... I see 'em every once in a while, including the one in B/S/T right now. Don't have room for it at the moment though!

I'm using it for almost a year now, it's a "muff" sounding fuzz with a footswitchable upper octave.
The voicing control is the secret here, it adds or cuts mids and it changes dramatically the sound.
