Two features I wish delays always had:
1) Trails
2) Foot control over analog delay space ship noises/modulation (or do I mean oscillation?)
Anyone know any delays which have both of those things?

http://www.t-pedals.com/en/index2.htmlThe guy running T-Pedals is called Alberto, he's Italian. Don't know if you've ever heard of him and/or his fuzz boxes (e.g. the T-Fuzz).
He has installed a 3-way switch in the direct out (which I have never used), replaced some components, checked the circuit and added the mods.
Now the delay can be longer, is airy and I can choose to add a beautiful touch of reverb...
Simply outstanding!
Gah!! Now I simply must know what the Small Stone - Stoned Vibe Mod / Stone Drone Mod does.......

The DD-20 has my needs down in the big area of precise delay with a tap tempo that's on a different footswitch that's still as big as the bypass footswitch. Other than that I really don't use the other features that much. Prolly a waste, but I got it in a trade for a pedal I wasn't using at all.

yeah well when it comes to tapping+presets, for the money, it's probably the right choice

Don't know if I really like the Echoplex I have that much as its kind of a pain. As a preamp its tits though.

BUT i owned it long time ago and i'd actually love to try it again
i've always thought that i KNOW about my delay preferences... as the time passes by, i'm not sure any more

but i totally love Wampler Faux Tape Echo

i hope someone will trade my pedals at B/S/T for Boss RE-20, that could be a cool comparison...
The Wampler Faux Tape Echo is a great sounding delay.

right?

i just wish it had trails

carbon copy.
hands down. well, maybe the el cap if i ever get one and put it through its paces..
but the carbon copy is a darker delay, i play single coils through a fender twin, set really bright so the contrast gives me that lush super airy sort of sound i want when i'm using it. it's super versatile, the degradation of the repeats isn't harsh and the modulation sounds fucking gnar. the trimpots to adjust the mod inside are really nice too.. bump up the depth and you're swirlin'
its my baby

I figured theactionindex would mention the DMB Lunar Echo, but since he hasn't, I will. Wrecked mode is

the new version has an FX loop but there is a wait list.

The EQD Dispatch Master looks very promising and at its price point could be a real winner.

Oooow....... didin't realize that. That's kind of a prerequisite for me these days. Still an awesome pedal though!

I just figured it would be out of the question for most people looking for a delay immediately because of the wait list, but despite that it's honestly the best sounding delay I've used and has taken its place as my main delay. I definitely overused the "take off" switch when I first got it though.

Yeah, it's impossible not to play with the take off switch the first few hours of playing it. Did you send yours in to add the FX loop?

Yes indeed, wait time was only about a week and now I have fx loop awesomeness.

Intriguing, what do they charge for that and what have you been putting in the loop?

Malekko 616 is awesome when it comes to trails

I'm pretty sure it was $25, and thus far I've been throwing everything I have in the loop haha. When I still had my Cosmichorus that was my favorite pedal in the loop, as far as modulation is concerned. Fuzz makes for some really, really interesting sounds, especially when I tried some more wacked out stuff (Blargg, Glitch Computer, 4545). Definitely want to try more modulation through the loop though, considering I don't have any anymore.

The El Cap has trails. If you hold down the tap tempo footswitch it will send it into endless repeats (oscillation). You can control any of the "front panel" knobs with an expression pedal so you can change the pitch of the oscillation with an exp pedal by using it to control the time knob. Or you can control the repeats to bring the oscillation in or out. Plus you can adjust the "tape bias" to control how loud the oscillations get, so you can get oscillations that don't get super loud, or just regular loud oscillations (that's how I roll).
I'm pretty sure the Brigadier does all these things also if that's more your cup of tea.
But yeah as you may have guessed the El Cap is my favorite delay. I plan on making the Timeline my new favorite.
