Awesome demo.
I can barely hear it over here with this connection (still on vacation) but this looks very interesting.

Now... High Gain:

Crappy playing (it's so hot in here, I feel like my guitar is going to melt on me).
Edit: There's a better video there:

Good god, I can't wait to try this thing out. Thanks for the demos!

Wow that is a lot of gain! At really high settings it almost sounds fuzz esque, but maybe that's just from the speakers I'm using.
However, it does sound like it needs a gate switch or something because there is a lot of white noise around the playing (again, that could be the speakers or the video)...
Hmmm....the Stone Grey Distortion is a fierce competitor especially at the price...I'm gonna need to wait for another demo.
Or maybe I'll just get that Bit Commander and call it a day.

There's no white noise... that's probably your speaker or maybe just my recording setup (it's not really professional).
The high gain video was recorded through a Yamaha DG-Stomp driectly to a M-Audio soundcard.
The Elements is very versatyle. Personnaly I prefer the low gain side (it fit better with my playing).
Stone Grey Distortion won't do the clean boost...

it's a bit unfair to compare the Elements to the Stone Grey price-wise, since the Elements is capable of a lot more.
if you just want to play metal maybe the Elements is much more than you actually need…

You can play any type of music with the Elements.
The EQ + Mix knob and all those switchs are fantastic... very versatyle.
I'm not a metal guy... just wanted to show in this video how heavy the Elements could get.

Grr! I got the same message others have received about the surge in volume in Canada Post, so it looks like mine is gonna be delayed a bit. It's killing me. I wanna test this thing out so badly.

In my case, it was just a day for the delay. Be patient, it worth the wait.
The low gain side is awesome!!

Canadapostinterwebnet still says mine's stuck in Canadaland... but it's sitting on my pedalboard now.
This thing is sweet. All sorts of nice dirt and EQ combinations - I missed the fact it had an expression pedal input too for the mix control. Nice surprise!

We should all be shamed as we stand in the shadow of his grandiose pulchritude!
My big worry is that people will get the pedal in the box, open it up and see the manual, and then leave the pedal in the box while they only enjoy the manual, never even plugging the pedal in.
I've already received emails from several cathedrals in Europe that want to replace their old painted ceilings with Elements manuals.

Right on, Martin, that's awesome to hear!

Thanks for suffering and making those demos, Syl, it's appreciated! Just curious, is the gain dimed on your direct demo?
I'll post my 2 demo videos here too in case some of yous guys haven't seen them yet... they're both high gain mode but you can get an idea of what the pedal sounds like into a clean tube amp with a couple different guitars. (they aren't production versions of the pedal but they're all the same anyway)

Regarding background noise, the Elements definitely has some! I've tried to keep the majority of the noise and unruliness on the last half of the gain knob in the high gain mode. In both my videos the gain knob is around noon and the background noise is really minimal. As you turn the gain knob up though, more noise.. and depending on your signal chain and your pickups and how how your amp is, maybe even more noise... that kinda thing is up to each user though and with all that gain on top you're gonna be able to make some noise in some settings, depending on various factors, you know.
