It doesn't really matter... They said earlier (refer to the discussion about A and B pots) that Devi has used both sooooo whatever you want

I guess I should ask what would the differences in the sweep be between the two for controlling the intensity pot (if anyone knows).

I am interested in this, but I don't have perf laying around, I still have more than enough Vero, is there somewhere on the internet a vero-layout?

REPOST: (because I am seriously wondering)
I have some Tantalum .1uF Mylar/Flim .1uF[some .10uF too], and Multilayer Ceramic .10uF...
can anyone tell me the differences as far as sound?

Yur transistors are backwards. And it is missing a resistor.
Here's another, think its right, but I'm an idiot. Didn't bother with proper naming or values, should be easy to figure out.

thank you both

Will start building soon!

awsome, just breadboarded a dark boost. thx guys. been wanting to try one of them.
guess ill actually do the silver crank next

yup, trannys are backwards. so uh, if anyone uses my thing, don't forget to flip em
but
someone should try putting just the 2907 in backwards to make the VFM version

AND AND maybe you could use a 2222 for a ZILVER GRANK

lol u flip the tranny in the sm
u can use the 33 to build a 33,db,hyperion, or add the 33 to a gz to make a bit and a bunch of others so on so forth

... i meant that the 33 uses the same transistor parallel pair as the sm family, so the same variations on transistor type and orientation should theoretically work. i'd assume you could replace the 2907 in a sm with a 104 cap a la db as well.
someone with a breadboard (or circuit sense enough to know whether it does anything) should get on this
for science

thanks alot for the info in this thread. ive bread boarded a couple of different circuits, but until now had not actually completed a build. finished this earlier today, that yellow box never sounded so good.
was worried i burnt the transisters since i didnt use sockets, but everything turned out ok. solder job def aint the purtiest. but hey its my first box.
dark boost w/ sag & clean vol blend.
