That's why you put your cable through your strap, so it won't do that if you step on it.... :erm:

I haven't but I find J basses to be a little like tele guitars in that they really very, and it can take awhile to find "the one" fretlesses more so.

Well, I just want a bass to replace my MIM fender zone. This one seems to fit the bill as it is a copy of the JHS one I wanted, but isn't available around here. :idk:

I'm sure it will be ok as long as you know what it is you are getting [squier], you might want to change out the pictups...
The only thing that would make me never buy that bass is it is based on Jaco's bass and the last thing I want is a copy of a famous dud's axe, let alone him, no I'm not a fan.
Fretless basses are fun though [if you have good intonation ;) ], I love mine.

I have no idea who jaco is but it's fretless and that's all I know :p

Found the one I'm going to get

New Jaguar Bass for $500
It can switch between active and passive so it'll be like playing 2 basses. Also this plays as well as any american bass I've tried, if not better. I recommend getting one.

Cool, good call. Actually I find MIJ better on average then MIA fenders.
