Best: Recovery Cutting Room Floor probably. That thing is always fun. Switch broke on it though

. RM1N. Supermoon Chrome.
Worst: Donner Surge Rotator Reverb. bleh. 50 dollars worth of bleh. Mojomojo overdrive. bleh. I didn't like Keely Dynatrem much. The dynamic thing worked backwards of what seems to make sense.

Best:
EAE Longsword - Ive never gotten along with distortions for long periods of time till this one. I can get all the stupid sounds I want out of it. Wish I had the cash for the V2.
Big Sky - yeah
Worst
OBNE Black Fountain - I can't say its that bad, but it sounded rather uninspiring in my hands.
Best of 2015
Chase Bliss Spectre - Ive always had a soft spot for flangers, and for the plain insane amount of adjustability you can get out of that thing, i just need it

Best:
-Mid-Fi, Electrib Yggdrasil
-Lastgasp Art, Super OScillo Fuzz 88
-SubDecay, Starlight Mk II
Worst:
-Chase Bliss, Warped Vinyl Mk II (Not inspiring for me... sounded sterile)

Best:
Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl Mk. II: Really nails the sound I've been looking for. Compliments my playing. Definitely an inspirational piece of gear.
Catalinbread Belle Epoch Japanese Edition: The extra 200 mS of delay really let me stretch my dreampop wings. I've own a first generation Belle Epoch and a later one, but the Japanese sounds the best. Just a perfect piece of kit.
smallsound/bigsound Fuck Mountain: So many toanz!!! Between the Mini side, the Mountain Range side, and the interplay between them, there are a bunch of great sounds in this box. Paired with the Warped Vinyl and a Boss delay, it is the best possible overdrive/distortion/fuzz for my taste in shoegaze and dreampop.
Boss RV-3: I sold one almost exactly a year ago and instantly regretted it. I've learned my lesson: nothing sounds exactly like the RV-3. Perfect for me.
Worst:
Ibanez Black Noise: I had visions of NIN, but instead I got an untrustworthy switch and it doesn't suit me at all.
Ibanez Lo Fi LF7: I fantasized about one of these for years, but it did nothing for me.
Hungry Robot Moby Dick: Fine delay, but not for me.

(These are probably all trades)
Best: I think my twosome happened this year. That pedal became so central to my sounds its ridiculous. Its everything I could want muff wise and its fucking glorious.
Worst: Trading my Ibanez delay for the Sitar Swami. Behndy was there, he can laugh at my poor decision.
Best of 2015: Not sure! There were so many cool things that came out this year, I loved all of it!

Not very easy, I haven't bought all that many pedals this year and they were mostly well thought out purchases.
The Fairfield Accountant pretty much is always on these days and accounts for great toanz. And finally getting an Expression Pedal (Moog v3) has opened a world of possibilities. The one I am proudest of is the Judder though. That thing is awesome and I should use it much more!
Both my Secret Santa presents, Scrutator and Paraloop, are amazing, but I guess I'm still honeymoonin. And the Bitquest I borrowed from Tristan is also extremely cool.
I guess the Masf Epilepsy and the Arcane Analog Anarchy Audio* HM-2 were disappointments, even though I have only borrowed them both. But there was no way I could make use of them and make them sound any way I imagined I might want them to sound.
I tried a Catalinbread Thru Zero in the store and it was HORRIBLE! BORING! Which is the biggest disappointment, because I love the concept and had huge hopes for it.
Best of 2015? No clue. I haven't tried most contestants, so I would go with the metal box judder even though the circuit is just an update from the old judder.
* - Whoops! Fucked up on the company name there, sorry to Arcane! He wrote me a pm noticing my mistake and said he never had built an HM-2, and I say if he would it would probably be smashin'!

Best purchase- Roland Scooper. Replaced my Possessed and got me up and running on modular instantly.
Best pedal - Digitech RP360. It's like a leaner, meaner M9/Pod/H9, and it's my favorite multi-FX, because it's got so many cool character models, and it's modular-friendly for CV.
Worst purchase - Extra 4u rack I acquired in a trade and still have never used. Need to flip it, but keep thinking about keeping it as an excuse to start a 1U modular row I don't really need.
Best of 2015 - Moog/Roland Euro invasion
Best pedal of 2015 - Scrutator

Best:
-Hexe Revolver II: Yea.
-Skychord Cloudbuster: Oh yea.
-Chase Bliss Audio Spectre: Oh my lord, yes.
Worst:
-Dwarfcraft Pitchgrinder: One timbre. What did you put into it? Doesn't matter, one timbre. Except for drum machines, they sound just awful.
Best Pedal of 2015:
CBA Spectre: No fucking challenger at all.

Best purchase: Getting a delaylab back in the mix. The reverse looper is worth the $100 I bought it for. Delays sound awesome too.
Worst: Can me having to cancel my CT5 count? Probably biggest let down was the JCM 800 reissue I had. Amp just sucked. Shrill, bright, little to no gain. Might have been broken.
Best pedal: I don't own one but I really want one of those industrialelectric reverbs.

You know. I'm going to throw my hat in the Chase Bliss Crowd. I think my worst purchase was a Warped Vinyl 2. I just did not like anything I could get from it and feel like it's overly complicated or I'm just impatient. I love Joel too. Super awesome guy!
I want to try his phaser, but after reading the above, I'm hesitant.
Worst sale-All my Toneczar.

FUCK ME.

Best: BAT Quantum Mystic
Does everything I want. Wide range of distortion sound, fuzzy when maxed out and cleans up nicely. Super flexible three band EQ and great separation made it my go to in 2015. Brilliant.
Worst: OBNE Procession
I just can't get this thing to sound nice. Flanger was the only usable modulation and the verb's a bit bright. It's not a bad pedal or anything but it just didn't do it for me.

This was a really good year for me for pedals.
Best: tied between Fuck (1 and 2) and DMM, and Blue Sky, and PitchFactor
Worst: Procession - really really liked it, but the boost sucked. If there was one without a boost I'd pick another up.
Elements - awesome pedal, but did not work for my rig. Too much control left me head scratching, I got way too much feedback with my crummy guitars, and it compressed too much to make for a good lead tone. That had a lot to do with my amp (which just keeps letting me down), I wouldn't mind trying another though.
Pedal of 2015: all SS/BS. Brian is hands down my favorite pedal company. Runner up: Count to 5. Holy shit, can't wait to get another one!

Best:
So 2015 was the year I had a proper relapse in buying gear. I have no idea if it came out last year but the thing that really triggered it all was getting a OBNE Black Fountain. However, I'm probably most satisfied with my Fender Nate Mendel P-bass (my first bass! =D ) which had me dig into my savings quite a bit but feels like a very good investment in the long run. Not to mention the fact that I don't have to feel guilty about borrowing a bass from others anymore. Got it for a good price too.
Worst:
Probably an impulse buy of the EQD Rainbow Machine. Cool pedal, I guess, just not for me. Got a used EHX Freeze too which just...nope...not at all.
Pedal of 2015:
Was the Black Fountain from this year or not? I just love delays and this one is truly unique sounding.
Ps. Still have three more pedals coming in (which technically were ordered in 2015... Ds.
