This. I haven't had long enough to play to justify turning on two amps and getting everything set up, but I love running different boards into each amp. Any sort of modulation sounds really nice mixed with a dry amp...or running different sorts of modulation into each amp - get's all kinds of weird and swirly. And running a distortion pedal into one amp and a fuzz into anothermisterstomach wrote:Gonna be hard to really capture the swirlliness without good stereo recording setup and panning. Not gonna happen on the phone. Stereo setups rule though. Ping pong delays and shit, dual reverbs, seperate dirt chains (my very favorite), lots of cool options. I got pretty into having a sort of wet/dry setup with seperate dirt chains. You can really crank the verb and delay on the wet amp a lot more than you normally would but still retain a lot of clarity with the dry amp. Great for higher gain kind of stuff. Seems like the swirl is probably more up your alley. Great sounds either way. Once you go dual amp, it's hard to go back.
