The tremolo on my BitQuest ring mod is pretty sweet.

I had a Hummingbird but couldn't find a use for it when I had it. But now I wish I hadnt flipped it. the BitQuest doesnt really get that slow since its meant to be a ring mod.

I don't understand how someone can't like tremolo.Listen to this toan. Hypnotic.

that sounds like 'harmonic vibrato' rather than pure trem
i was going to recommend it anyway, as a close relative of the trem - cleaner sound than a phaser or vibe but more sumptuous than pure trem

i love the bearfoot minivibe

I love it when other people use tremolo, but I can't do it. The only exception is the tremolo circuit in the Fender Excelsior. Loved that shit. I really want to try a PN-2 though.... the one BST is so gat damn tempting.

Yeah, I think you'd like harmonic trem. Carlson uses a Phase 90 instead of a trem, but a harmonic trem can get you kind of there

I was playing with a Versa Vibe into my Meatsmoke trem last night and it was pretty sweet. Not Dylan Carlson sweet though.

I had a Stutterbox that I sold, just wasn't quite my thing. I recently bought a Diamond tremolo which I really like. It's got a lot of options, but not so many that it's complicated to use. It's green.

I've got a sweet trem on my amp too, so I don't even bring my trem pedal to practice most times.

I love the velocity sensitive tremolos in my line 6 pod. The dynamic fluctuation in rate is very fun to play with.

Tube driven trem in old Fenders is a favorite.
Only trem pedal I currently want is a Kingsley Bard.

I've been accidentally and now purposefully using my Dr Sci Elements pedal as a manual tremolo/volume pedal.
It has a great taper with EV-5 expression pedals and I'm looking to try it with a Copilot Broadcast for oscillation options.

But currently, a devoted trem pedal is absent from my board. Discovered I prefer the throb of a Uni Vibe's chorus mode before dirt.
Tremolo pedals affect the entire signal, Vibe modulates the bottom end with dynamic response and pushes the dirt while letting the treble...sit on top and remain articulate. The noise floor remains constant.

Ok here is my experiment.

SwirlPool with a Versa Vibe in the fx loop>Mid-Fi Overdrive>Jext Telez Dizzy Tone OC44>Mid-FI Demo tape fuzz>Tremolo on the Meatsmoke amp.

Also featured is vertical video orientation, string noise from sitting too close to my android, and sloppy playing.

I've got the Diamond tremolo too and I love it. Options, but not overwhelming. Organic and smooth to stuttery and spastic (the "chaos" setting is so much fun especially if you also you double the tempo). I got mine in a black enclosure because I have OCD.
