Yeah Gibson threatened to sue them or pulled their license which means Warmoth can't do those kinds of shapes anymore. Sucks. I was looking forward to making a flying v one day.

They came out with some new, non infringing Gibsonesque designs. They're not the same though. Off brand Gibson shapes always look super funky to me.

Yeah, they have a flying v on the site but when you click on the icon it takes you to the wrong body shape. The little icon has the weird mismatched wing lengths which I do not like at all. Probably go a different route to make a flying v.

Re: Warmoth Guitars
For the record, I hate Warmoth's ordering system. You have to place your order then they send you an email in which you have to reply confirming the shit is correct,. It was correct the first time
and then when you call to add something to the order and confirm it with the guy on the phone, they send another email that you need to confirm.
The kicker though is when I decided to add one more thing to the order I just replied to the email stating what I wanted (a string tree) I haven't gotten any kind of reply from them since.
I have a feeling that this is gonna suck before it is over with.

I din't have to deal with that shit. I just made the neck through the building app and then got an email saying my order was placed. The email just said to email them back if I needed any changes.

Re: Warmoth Guitars
I was told from the guy on the phone its so they can have a paper record of everything that goes on so people can't say they didn't specify something a certain way if they weren't happy with it. I can understand that but it is kind of a pain in the ass.
