That looks nice

. It only took me a couple seconds to see the beauty. I might change the pup covers and knobs? over at offsetguitars they have a "guitar builder" type program where you can pick the body shape, color, etc for everything on the guitar to give you an idea. maybe check that out, rather....i like the look and might go check that out to see what some different colored bits and pieces look like if I do the same on mine.

i'm a sucker for them gold anodized scratch plates

Yes, I tried over there quite a bit before ordering...
Did you mean I should change PU covers or you?
Think I wanna keep mine white. Always dug the 59 look of this for example ;

SExy.
For mine, if I go with gold I'm thinking aged white, or antique white whatever they call it. maybe black too. i just don't know. so many choices. good news is i have gold pickguard on my cp jazzy and a set of black pup covers/knobs i've yet to put on it...it's a black model. and i've got aged white pup covers/knobs etc on my jvri 66 jazzy, so if i get the motivation I can just whip it together and see what I think. More pressing issue is finding a set of vitage 65 pups to swap in.

Just emailed this guy to see if he could do it!
Thanks guys!
Just a warning, there was a big problem on Offsetguitars a while back with Tone-Guard. He'd take money, but then stop responding to emails and never deliver. No personal experience with this, but I'd certainly be wary.
Not sure if that was ever resolved, but I'd suggest that if you do order through Tone-Guard, make sure you dispute with Paypal within the 45 day period if your guard hasn't shown up by then.
Just want to update this thread because I just got a gold anodized aluminum pickguard from Tone Guard for my blacktop JM.
It took less than a week to get here. Including customs time.
Also while I was emailing the guy I referred to this thread and he explained that the whole Offsetguitars issue was personal/family related.
Possibly just an excuse to save face, but he was super nice and I had a good experience

This
Tone Guard totally has options for black anodized.
I was super tempted to get one of those too.....
Feeling like a Tone Guard fanboy now......but just trying to help anyone out who is looking for anodized guards

Glad to hear it too. Not that I'm in the market for an anodized guard at the moment, but it's good to know that there's a good source for them out there if I ever am. And I always hate hearing stories of people getting screwed over, so it's good that Tone Guard has their act together now.

Looks awesome! Gold anodized looks awesome on bursts. Come to think of it, my boring old strat would certainly look much spiffier with one of these.

You're looking for the orange pickguard right?
Not sure if Tone Guard would be the right place for that.
They seem to only do anodized aluminum and brass guards.
Try contacting Warmoth? They might be able to help?

Crap, didn't mean the orange guard. That would still be cool though.
I meant the gold ano! I emailed tone guard and they didn't reply.

Yeah took them like 4 days to reply to my email.
Might want to try sending them another message, maybe they just missed it?
If you're looking for a standard gold ano they're pretty good though. Like I said it took less than a week to get mine after I ordered it.

I'll try emailing again. I emailed them months ago,
I figured they just didn't want to do one for a bass vi.
