I'm afraid that if I ever do buy one I'm gonna be stuck playing Variations on a Theme through my Cisneros-worship rig for eternity.

The Bongo is a weird beast. It really does look like a fucking toilet seat. But every time I hear a clip of one, it sounds absolutely tits.

And I know that if I ever get a Ric, I'll just get a Mesa 400 and play Undertow and Opiate riffs for the rest of my life. And maybe some Yes thrown in here and there.

This is my current bass gas.... just a simple American p-bass in black on black.... Nate from converge is too blame.... It's what he used on Axe To Fall and i love that bass tone.

That's not a bad thing in my book. I thought the roger waters had a maple fretboard though.

No digital camera, but I do have an OR120, a DOD250, and a couple of cabs.

Oh, and not to spoil any sort of crazy reveal, but a DOD250 with a hot passive bass (tone & vol all the way up) into mostly any "classically voiced" tube amp will get you that OM lightning-falling-out-of-the-sky tone.
