Bringing this back.
A pedal that reminds me of Bubble Bobble.
I'm envisioning a super wet phase/vibe with bit crusher and arepeggiated delay.

Something like the EQD Arpanoid but instead of arpeggiating a signal, it arpeggiated the frequency of a ring mod.

Re: Pedals you wish existed?
you might be able to do that with a ring mod w/ expression/cv input and an ehx 8 step program or something similar?

I'm aware, but it does not do it with the note that you play, which is a huge difference.

This is an awesome idea.Inconuucl wrote:Something like the EQD Arpanoid but instead of arpeggiating a signal, it arpeggiated the frequency of a ring mod.
You just need a ring-mod that has both carrier and modulator inputs like this.

or this.

Split your dry signal into two. Run one into the carrier input. Run the other into the arpanoid, and then into the modulator input.

...or theoretically, you could modify any ring-mod by finding out where the internal oscillator is injected, cut the trace, and run it to a switch with a second input jack.

Re: Pedals you wish existed?
It would also be awesome to hack that passive ring with the Hotone Wally Looper, since it has the tempo/pitch control.
