Me too. I would rather pay the extra $50 have the actual tangible pedals and be able to use them all at once in any order, but thats just me....

I'm not sure if the console and its cartridges will be a mainstay or not....but it is really cool. At the very least I'll think back on it 20 years from now and say "yeah, that was fuckin' cool".

for hotel room recording it will be the tits. i can finally have access to a full pedalboard with out having to cart it around. i'll just have the console and a pile of cartridges.

yeah, in a college dorm this'd be hella useful. 6+ pedals in the space of two. or one multi-effect pedal

You don't really have six+ pedals in the space of two though. You have 2 pedals...and then a bunch of little cartridges to keep track of and constantly change out...just sayin.' The size never gets any bigger, but neither does the amount of effects you can use.
