Anyone know what St. Vincent is rocking these days? When I saw her on Colbert it looked like a multi fx, but those tones on the new album are as sexy as she is, so I couldn't believe it.

I want to say quite a few Eventides, but that's only judging from the video she did a while ago....

+1, would bang Annie Clark.

From what I heard on her last tour, her board was controlled via her keyboard players Laptop via midi to switch where appropriate so she could focus more on performance. I heard her talking about the rig for this tour being off stage and midi controlled. So what she has on stage now is probably a midi controller for her pedals to trigger things when she wants, plus the control going on from her keyboard players laptop.

edit: would both bang AND band Annie Clark.

Hrmm, seems all the space stuff is gone.

Love how every version of her board ALWAYS has the Mastotron somewhere.

Whats the little silver thingy?

Surely she's using the H9's for the sounds she had in the Space and Pitchfactor?

What dirt is Laura using these days, if you saw? Does she still individually box up the Whetstone? Cuz that thing was like, her baby a few years back

I noticed an OCD at the front of her first board. I think the whetstone was still there, there was a Crystal Dagger too. When I leaned over the monitor I mainly just cracked up at the ridiculous amount of shit.

I found this to be amusing. I dont get the logic behind what they choose to tape over and not.
Efrim thinks Gibson the big corporation is ok, but Les Paul the guy is a no no?

i think it's reached the point of being more aesthetic than anything. as you mentioned, there are clearly some things they don't cover. no tape on the echoczar, nothing over the nice vintage fender piggyback or hiwatt stuff. some of the stuff is also just random "X"'s or stickers covering nothing, so i really would guess that it comes down to visual style at this point. and honestly, i kind of agree that the headstocks look better without the signature

since we're talking about the same post here, any idea what the big black pedal on the top right of the left board (above the peterson) is?

I was wondering that myself. Thinking it might be a buffer splitter for his amps?

i was thinking the same thing at first, but i think it's the first pedal on that board, which runs to the tuner, then the lofi and down the line. i seem to remember when seeing it in person that it was mono in/out? there were no visible knobs on it so some kind of buffer type thing would make the most sense it seems.

though i might be blind, i guess that could be two separate right angles coming out of it? maybe only one amp gets delay signal while the other is just dry/stuff from the first board?

Yea, there are two right angle cables and a normal one. Still can't quite tell whats going on. That's a huge box for a buffer/splitter though.
