Boss Ring Modulator. I use Boss for certain effects, especially flange and chorus, so I am intrigued by the idea of a ring modulator in a Boss enclosure. I'd like it to be pink and be called the RM-2.

Boss flangers kick ass. I would be stoked if they came out with a ring mod. Especially if it was pink.

Probably so, but I can't blame him, his hands were kinda busy at the moment.
Today I was trying to get this Rhodes type of sound again and I got quite close to this with palm muting on my Strat on the middle pickup combined with the following chain of effects:
Philosopher King (compression) -> Whammy 5 (octave up harmony classic mode) -> Crybaby (cocked wah sound) -> Amp50 (crunchy boost) -> Big D (distortion) -> Bitcrusher III (little sample rate reduction blended in)
These pedals in particular seemed to make the sound: blended in octave up -> cocked wah -> crunchy boost or distortion -> little sample rate reduction blended in.
I was surprised but the blended in octave up actually made quite a difference in making the sound more identifiable as a Rhodes type sound when combined with a suitable style of percussive playing.

EHX Stereo Polyphase lets you pick the upper and lower ends of the phaser sweep with the start and stop knobs. Also, the Moog phaser's sweep knob controls the center frequency of the phaser sweep.

The manual knob on flangers does the same thing - not sure why there are so few phasers with that function.

The EQD Depths is kinda like that, and my Subdecay Quasar DLX has a knob on the far left of the pedal that alters the frequencies that are swept between throughout the waveform. It's not an extreme sound change like The Depths though. It's more of a fine tuning tool.

Not really guitar pedals, but I got some ideas.

Wind Simulator:
Output only. Start with a white noise generator and a resonant low-pass filter. Add two slow LFOs: One controls volume, the other controls the cutoff frequency of the filter.
Deluxe version: Switchable multi-mode filter: Two more LFOs to modulate the speed of the original two: Switchable LFO shapes: Stereo panning.

Pitch-Tracking Vocoder:
Split the mic input. Send one signal to control the formant filter as per usual. Send the other signal to a pitch-to-CV converter like in the Korg MS-20 that controls an internal oscillator. I guess you could add whatever synth features you want to the oscillator: switchable waveshapes, pulsewidth modulation. Maybe add second or third oscillators for harmony. Breaking out the inputs and outputs would be nice. Not too difficult to do, but I want it in one box.

IBANEZ PM7 HAS IT. Such a baller pedal.

The manual knob will let you choose an approximate frequency range to phase. Also, if you turn the depth all the way off the pedal becomes a static filter of some sort with the manual knob affecting the accentuated frequencies.

Fuzzes in general don't have enough LFOs. Put LFOs in to control fuzz amount, tone, and to fade between different transistors.

The Shin ei siren/surf/tornado kind of did that. Would be neat to expand.
