Re: Why not just use a Baritone Guitar?
It depends on the neck and the scale. A few years ago a few companies [stu mac, WD ect, warmoth still does] made baritone necks that would fit on a normal fender scale guitar like a strat or tele [not a jaguar], the stu mac ones were really nice, I use one to make a bari with a Koa/mahogany body for which i traded for to get my space echo. I thought the WD neck were a little pricy.

Hi,
Baritone Guitar is one of the best Guitar in the world. It is most rarely available in the market. As it is rarely available there are very less people, who play such guitar. If you have that Baritone Guitar and you know to play it the best way, than there is no need of any other instrument.

I'm now considering a double-necked guitar - one normal, one baritone - and growing myself two extra arms on the back of a mouse.

If you put light acoustic strings on an electric, you can turn down to Bb...

You mean the gauges of a acoustis set right?

My main guitar that I have had for ever which is a franky V is tuned bari and my strangs are: .016P, .026P [I prefer a .029P but I can't find them any more

You mean the gauges of a acoustis set right?bronze strings don't sound the best on electrics.
