The Gospel is my fav band from this scene but they are really more like punks playing prog rock:

Love Lost But Not Forgotten was also a sick band that I don't really hear much love for anymore.
This album has some of the craziest vocals I've ever heard:

This one has better songwriting in my opinion but the gnarlier of the two vocalists left the band:

So many blasts from the past in here. I remember being fairly involved in the UK skramz scene and stuff, it was not bad!

Anyway, some favourites that I probably haven't heard in nearly a decade:

That's my favorite Ampere song.

Jerome's Dream are a bit shit imo. Same with Orchid but they're better than JD. Saetia I wish just had better songwriting cos the weird ass vocals could've been really unique but combined with a lack of good songwriting, it is wasted.

Anyway, I really recommend Still Life. They predate Skramz and are emotive hardcore BUT I mean they really special. Art rock / Goth Rock, Joy Division style, combined with Emo, waaaay better than like Antioch Arrow, or whoever else did that style.

Indian Summer - Woolworm, one of my fave songs of all time and really THE MAGNUM OPUS of emotive hardcore.
