Low pass gate in a pedal?

Has anyone thought about the Zoia?

Edit: Asking because been listening to Barker a bit lately and saw an interview today where he said the sound is layered synths going through a stereo low pass gate controlled by multiple envelopes (and a homemade plate reverb, etc). Not trying to replicate his sound but the technique interests me.
