Haha. You're the best.
Yes, what happens if Kevin Shields starts touring with his own unauthorized tribute pedal? Do people have to reluctantly admit that it's actually cool?
Honestly, KS' board seems a lot like a tiger shark or that Eric Cartman Trapper Keeper, it just gobbles up anything in its path---Mooer delays, $40 dirt boxes, and so forth. Maybe he could get a Loomer and simplify his rig.

Hate the idea, love the sound. Unexpected GAS.

This is a fair reaction. Antipope absolves you.

seems like you could do the same thing for cheaper with different pedals. It doesn't even sound like reverb into fuzz.
Granted, expression and loop are neat.

If I wanted this, I already have a Midiverb II and a fuzz pedal.

Was not expecting to want this but kinda do. Sounds and looks really good (it's pretty!). The envelope controlled vibrato on the reverse reverb is pretty cool. Curious about the insert and exactly what the exp controls.

Shootout?

So, I wonder what you'd get if you connect this, Noisemaker's Loveless, and Devi's Shoegazer together.
(sidenote: as per napkin's joke, the Shoegazer ended up on KS's board and cemented itself as cool shit ever since, so it's within the realm of possibility that this would end up there in an alternate dimension, at least)
Also, InB4: SPIN CHIPS SHOULD HAVE A MILLION SWITCHABLE OPTIONS
But, really, I feel like you could do the same thing as this with a Cathedral or Midiverb and a Rat clone and still have some money left to buy a nice lunch.

Carry on, everyone.

I love seeing a poster who is basically a glorified Reverb sale newsletter get a little saucy from time to time.

That Noisemaker loveless is probably the second stupidest pedal of all time. First being occupied by their "Daydream Nation + shimmer reverb" pedal.
"Fuzz and Reverb right? Which fuzz? Which reverb? Doesn't matter stick em in a box and used bootleg artwork."
Cool to see Keeley doing this though, I mean lame but cool for them. AFAIK the Digiverb is one of the only good places outside of a rack and/or multi to get that classic mbv verb tone.

According to his website, the reverse reverb is actually based on Midiverb and SPX, which are closer to multi-tap delay than true reverb, as he explained on the site.
I've always wanted to see such a pedal on the market (other than the magicstomp). Didn't expect it would be Keeley though.
If I hadn't found the "mbv reverb" setting on my H9, I'd be all over this pedal. There's no other small footprint pedal that does this reverse reverb algorithm as far as i know. Digiverb is great sounding but it's different.

God I sound like a pathetic fanboy/a broken record, but the Nemesis can do this on reverse mode, just turn the intensity knob all he way clockwise for multitap. Then if you go to the neuro app you can add diffusion to the repeats and switch the vibrato mod for a filter sweep.
... Why the fuck did I sell that pedal?

Great thanks for repeating this info again man. I haven't logged in here for a long while and didn't know Nemesis has this cool feature.
I need to check Nemesis out. I don't know why I haven't even watched its demo videos and stuff.

Fun fact, when MBV were last in Australia, someone pinched KS' Devi Ever godzilla, so he put the call out to borrow one. Our greatest gift to the pedal demoing world, Brett Kingman/Burgs volunteered his, after which KS bsconded with it:
BURGS wrote: Someone from MBV management contacted me when they were touring here last - Kev had lost his Godzilla somehow or it had been stolen. Since mine was the only other one in the country at the time (waiting to be demoed), could he have it, please, and it will be replaced. Devi agreed to replace it. So I passed it on to one of their tour runners and after some hounding received a worn t-shirt as compensation - the purple MBV shirt I've occasionally worn in videos since. No replacement Godzilla was ever forthcoming from Kevin or Devi. So, while I dig their music a lot, I wouldn't by any stretch call Kevin Shields a friend.
And I think that' pretty fuckin funny

Sounds about right, never loan gear to guys, especially pseudo-famous, unless you're there with it the whole damn time.
