I think the US will fit in fine for some of those genres, but not all. I still think it's one of my favorite devi's.
The EB VP is also fine, unless you have the technical know-how to hook up your own VP into an old solid wah enclosure. I can't stand cheapy plastic pedals.

While the pulsar is a solid pedal, I would never put it in my "dream" rig. Call me a corksniffer or whatever, but I want a bit more from a tremolo pedal.
Check out the seymour duncan shape shifter, catalinbread semaphore, or empress tremolo. The goatkeeper is a noisemakers dream, but they are a bit hard to locate.
The semaphore is actually my favorite and sounds "better", but lacks the tap tempo of the other 3 I named.

The DL4...do you do a lot of looping yet still want a few solid "usable" delays? If so keep the dl-4. If not, I'd start looking elsewhere.
I like the idea pairing an analog delay with a digital.

What kinda pups do you have loaded in that LP? A lot of HB hate comes from shitty pickups...there are plenty out there.
I've become a dimarzio fan as of late...I might switch the SD jazz out of the neck of my V and toss in an air norton. At least until I can afford a bareknuckle
If you only plan on having 1 guitar for all those styles , perhaps check the SD P-Rails, you can bounce between HB/P-90/SC's with the flip of a switch.

I'd also consider a 2nd amp...a fender+some dirt gets you there for most of those genres, but I love the kick in the pants of a cooked orange or mesa.

Oh, and +3 on the single coils suggestion. Either that or drop a coil tap in your guitar. Thataway you can get the nice jingle jangle jing jing jing for the pretty parts and the chugachuga for the br00tal parts. Also, my experiences with a twin is that with some decent, NOT super modern/high output humbuckers you won't get lost in the mud, as the twins have a brighter sound. With high output humbuckers that tend to come in stock Epi's you'll have that horrible problem of overdriving your amp's preamp at low volume/gain settings and never getting a nice clean.

At least it's my preference. I'd rather overdrive my amp with pedals/boosters or just cranking the gain and volume for my distorted tones. Try and get a little dirt and roll back on the volume a tad and you should get a nice sparkle-y clean.

so you are saying the Hazarai pedal is better than the DL4. there has been some debate about this but it alwayz ends up being inconclusive. i can't say either becuz i have never owned or used a DL4 but i know some people are really big fans. i actually think the DL4 may have a better looper but again i can't say becuz i have not tested the DL4.

actually. to be honest. i hope the Hazarai pedal doesn't become popular. or rather, i hope it becomes popular w/ the "right" people.

Forget both the DL4 and the SMMH, get a Superdelay.

(Start with one, then trade up later. Or get all three to go over the top with your delay.)

yeah i agree. get an Empress Superdelay. the Octave Up seems SO KILLER.

Not to mention the awesome tape mode WITH tap tempo! The looper is supposedly "useless" but I've tried it a few times and it has worked pretty well. The reverse octave gives it cool organ-like sounds when you have high enough feedback. But my favorite thing to do is go in the regular noises, push the feedback all the way up, and make SPACESHIP NOISES (sometimes little beats pop up in there).

Well I would imagine the looper on the DL4 is easier to use, the one on the SMMWH is kind of awkward I don't know how to explain it, it's just not as smooth, and there are random volume drops idk it's weird. Other than that the SMMWH is a GREAT pedal.
