I thought Swervedriver's post-reunion album was really, really good. I put it on before Mezcal Head, these days. I love the mbv reunion album. Hum will be badass. Downward is Heavenward is a perfect album.

I'm hopeful about it. Drumming in Shiner has always been good. Tim Lash's stuff in Glifted is really, really excellent. I think I may even like it more than Hum. And Matt Talbott's stuff has been sort of an extension of Hum. I think with Lash back making lots of atmospheric textural noise they'll come up with some cool stuff.
Also, saw two of the reunions. They were ok. Failure was better.

Wow, that's super harsh.
The Pumpkins are one of the worst bands I've ever seen...and definitely the worst band I've ever seen twice.
(the other is The Strokes).

hey its not like I can go hang out with John Cusak and Jack Black in real life at a record store anymore, so the internet will have to do.
(actually I love my local record store but that's not the point here)

Even though I liked Failure better live, I do love Hum.
