But will you buy a used / known-broken one?
hahhahahahahaha

See that's what I did you smart ass.

Here's the issue though. Cioks won't even help me get it fixed. I said "I will obviously pay for it". Duh. So why won't they help? That doesn't make me feel very comfortable buying anything from them ever. I even asked if they knew someone else that I could pay to fix it and they just ignored me. LOL. So fuck them.

If I'd had a similar issue with Voodoo Labs, they would have taken care of me.

There are soooooooo many options out there now that I refuse to put up with bad customer service.

Yeah I'm always wary of that shit. I still feel like you just had a hit and miss coz of the timing.

Yeah but if you bought a broken one under the assumption that they might help you like someone we know you might feel differently.

I didn't assume they'd fix it for free. But I think it's fair to assume they'd be helpful in any way. You know, like point me in the right direction at least. I don't think that's asking a lot.

Hmm. So I can get a new DC5 for $140 through GearTree on Reverb or the Adam for $95. The votes are pretty tied, but since I'm sticking to my PT-nano and in case I ever do somehow add a pedal or exchange for a pedal that need a higher voltage I'll have adequate power. Somebody stop me now if I'm about to fuck up before I go to the bank to deposit my spending money to place the order.

Which did you get? I'm looking at these, and I'm concerned about interference with the Adam.

i bought a DC5 without even considering that (i didn't watch the video with that funny bald European guy and Poul until after it was delivered). in retrospect i would have immediately chosen the DC5 if i had know that beforehand. but i went with the DC5 for the extra power options.

Cool. And, it makes you happy?

yes. oh a word of warning. be VERY careful to make sure you have the card with the punch holes lined with with the screw holes on the DC5 or Adam. i accidentally had it backwards. Europeans and Americans do not have the same thought process when it comes to flipping over a business card...

Thanks for the input. I think there is a new Volto coming. So, I may hold off to see what that turns out to be.

i was into the Volto but it looks like you still have daisy chaining out of it.

Maybe a new version will have more taps? I'm not sure if I'll risk a Volto, though. I think they have rather mixed reviews. Hopefully, Pedaltrain is getting issues resolved.

How does the "link" feature work with these power supplies?
