The electron fuzz is amazing. He actually has a special run going right now but I think there's either only a few left to be made or he's done making them but there supposed to be even better than the electron fuzz custom which was already better than the regular electron fuzz.

Well haven't even gotten the Jekyl and Hyde yet but had to order this too. These won't be a regular run and only a handful were made mine being the last.
""Smokestack" on the left side of the pedal an Octavia with a 2nd Octavia type circuit of my own design. A knob lets you switch between one or the other. The Octavia fx can be dialed back to clean leaving just the octave circuits un-octified. On the right side of the pedal is a separate distortion. Very smooth. A texture knob adjusts between silicon or germanium clipping. The meter can monitor ether circuit. Each circuit is independent of the other and has its own in/out jacks on the back: Sorry 9volt people this is another 18volt pedal! The small aircraft meters are harder to come by so they only get used on special custom orders. #pedalboard #rmlfx "

They look super classy, but definitely too big and heavy for me to carry around for gigs. Would be cool to have one at home though. Very decorative and beautiful.

Very awesome sounding/looking stuff. I like the weird old bits he uses in the pricier units.

Well... i couldn't help myself and i ordered a 3rd pedal from Jonathan.
The 432 Distortion Box.
I've been looking for something this versatile and killer sounding for a while and this is going to be the perfect studio tool for me. Just great dirt sounds in general but some much versatility even filter and gated effects.
This is the video that sold me on it.

Just got a 432K and it is AWESOME! Amazing. It's as if my Dunwich VoltTHrower and SFX 42 had a child together by splicing their DNA with Alien and X-Men DNA. AWESOME.

So this is probably one of the coolest new effects day i've had for multiple reasons.
A long time ago i purchased the Retro Mechanical Labs Electron Fuzz Custom and loved it. I went to his website and saw all the amazing looking and sounding work John was doing. I had to have more.
So I ordered three of his stellar wooden box effects!
The first one to arrive is the Jekyll and Hyde “JnH” Dual ladder filter distortion box.
What is it? From his site:
"100% analog. One transistor ladder filter. One diode ladder filter. Both with pre and post overdrives, slow drifting LFOs and additional signal clipping for each filter. Dual filter version can be run as dual mono or mono to stereo."
There's not a lot of demos of this online. I'll post some clips when i get a chance to play with it. It just arrived and first of all the packaging is awesome! What care and attention to detail. Then the box itself is just absolutely beautiful.
When i get home i'm going to try it on guitar, drums, bass and synths and see what happens!
The best part is I still have two more effects coming from him soon! I'll add those to this thread as they come in for anyone interested.
I'm going to see what it does to guitar but there's not guitar demos anywhere for it at this point. So to show you what it does, here's a sample of what it does to drums and what it does to synths:
