Re: Simple delay with built in Freeze?
Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone. After looking into some different options, I realized that getting another DD6 is the simplest option for momentary noise layering without losing the delay, and that coupling that with a Freeze would just give me more versatility than hoping to find it all one simple pedal. I was thinking maybe a delay with an expression pedal set to feedback would probably a nice compromise with a little more contorl, but I sold the DL4 to try and make my pedal board a little smaller in the first place. My band is about to start playing live again, and so I've having a bit of self-induced pedal crisis. Haha. Thanks again for the recommendations!

I managed to read this whole thread without looking at the OP's user name
Excited to hear that man! You know we'll expect board pics when it's all together!
Also the DD-20 has a mode that sustains the delayed notes without turning into a cacophony alaa DD6, but iirc it doesn't delay your dry sound when you're holding the pedal down.

Re: Simple delay with built in Freeze?
No, Kidcrash I think will likely never play live again. With our bass player living back in our home state of New Mexico it's become pretty much impossible. We are still trying to finish our last record, but that's a different story...ramonovski wrote:Kidcrash, right?
The band I've been playing in for a few years now is called Dreamdecay, and we have a new record coming out soon as well. I just play guitar in this band. My current setup is Jazzmaster -> Maxon 808 -> RAT -> DD6 -> EA Trem -> Street Sweeper -> 2x12 with EM12's. My bandmate had an identical setup, but he left the band to focus more on his other band, Darto. John, from Kidcrash, will actually be playing with us now.
Our new stuff is a bit different, but you can hear some of the type of noise stuff we do with the DD6 (the rest of the setup on this record is a bit different from what I listed above, however). https://ironlungpv.bandcamp.com/album/n ... -lungs-040

The Eventide Timefactor does the freeze thing. So does the Strymon DIG.
