I think theywere about $1500ish through the KS and I think there was some lutherie involved so I doubt you'll find them sans guitar and I have a feeling the price won't be oing in the down direction

but hey, I'd check with them, maybe they'll be doing a second run or something.

They have something on the site that seems like an ebow. It's called The Wond.

yup, looks like basically an ebow style thing, but from the description I guess it's got expression control by way of some sort of pressure swittch reading hard had you squeeze the thing. Maybe there are some other tricks.

I'd shoot them an email to see if they are going to do another run. seems like the KS hints at it just a little

The moog still basically works like a ebow though, the magnetic force needs to get the string going.. same with stopping them.. so playing rapid fire on/off stuff is still not there… this "might" do that… or it could be utter fail...

Those mounting brackets do not say $400 to me...those things are cheesy...double stick tape? really?

I don't know about this anymore really. (I don't know what I was expecting though...maybe a system that suspended from a bridge or tailpiece?

HOw hard would it have been to make one that has the system integrated? I mean, guitars with pickguards probably have enough clearance in them to manage it. :idk:

They could have even done the boss GK thing and made it use the strap buttons with a plate...

I don't know, seems like a flaw or cost cutting to me. I know it takes a lot of setup, but all of that could have been integrated into the plate and a swing arm.

There is plenty of clearance too.
