i'm willing to go out on that limb. i love zeitgeist, and stand by the point that in 3 years, everyone else will too.

Hmm, I don't really like SP all that much but really like this. It's like all the parts of SP that I do like but built upon.

PS - I don't like how Billy perpetuates the stereotype of women bass players. :p

Dude, I remember when they leaked Tarantula on the web for the first time. I listened to it over and over again. I teared up once when he bends that note into the quiet/clean bridge part. Also, That's The Way My Love Is is total gaaaazzzzeeeee. Bring the Light has the coolest riff too. It may not be their best album, but there are some stellar moments.

And Adore fucking rules too. I'm a big SP dick sucker though, I can't help loving it all (with the exception on of a few songs on Machina I....and for God and Country. And Pomp and Circumstances, those songs blow :p ).

I like the dude in the audience a little after 2:30 trying to start a wave thing with his arms, lol. But yeah this performance is quite amazing, wish I could find some other musicians to gel with like that.

AND WAIT A MINUTE!!!! WHO THE FUCK IS BASHING ADORE?

Nowhere else to post this, couldn't justify starting a new thread for it, so I'll post this here:

I love this stuff, maybe one day Billy will just do a Zwan boxset with all this stuff in it. Or at least a Djali Zwan album. Still, there's always that unoffical Spun soundtrack floating around on a few websites...

Zwan will never get retroactive love until someone remasters the fucking thing. It's in the red the whole time, massively overcompressed, and ear fatigue sets in entirely too quickly.

Zwan & Puddle of Mudd are two of my favorite bands w/o question.

what i want to know is if William doesn't like the members why doesn't he re-form it w/ NEW members. Zwan seemed like a really cool outlet for non-SP stuff.

:joy:

this album is really good i have been listening to it non-stop since i found it on-line. i would love to do a more noise-rock version of the 3 guitar attack. i think that would be rad. i think William should reform Zwan w/ all new members & just play a lot small-to-mid cap venues. let Zwan be his indie-rock psyche band or something. i think that would be rad.
