The ILFDD is a much better complement to the DMM than a replacement for it. Great delay character and options. The switchable modulation functions like a preset as it changes the relative delay time & character. The oscillate switch is what really sets it apart and what the EAR AD4096's momentary should be.
Hang onto it, only 30something exist...and there's no replacing a DMM.

But a DTSR should do the trick too I guess. I'm usually on the the kind of budget that forces me towards two $80 pedals to do the job of one $240 pedaln. Which is cool and all, really versatile, lotsa nice combinations...But something like a DTSR should sound stellar too, congratz with the new pedlol.

I had an Rv3 and couldn't vibe with it at all. And I'm using a board the size of a nano so top-mount jacks rule.

Oh the ILFDD isn't going anywhere, ever. I meant within the confines of my board, don't think I have room for both.

I totally agree about the modulation being a preset, the non-mod delay is nice and rhythmic, where the modulated is very washy and excellent. I love the oscillation switch too. I can't believe how practical it is for adding an extra swash or letting some noise loose.

I just can't afford a DMM, and they're gettjg rarer and more expensive

Sorry for the derail! I've always been interested in the DTSR. I think 300 ms is a really nice amount of delay time. 600 ms is usually where my delay times max out. I never "got" really long delays.

Yo murkiest/darkest delay I have played is the SIB Mr. Echo. Loved it.
