Originally I had put a $100 strat neck on it, so that was the 'on a budget' part of the OP before the neck preorder came about haha

Bought a Seymour Duncan quarter pounder pickup for the bridge position. While I like the CIJ pickups, they are totally microphonic. Which I like to an extent, but any time I use gain it just goes into gnarly feedback. So I'm keeping the CIJ in the neck and the quarter pounder in the bridge.

Got an update from Matt Bastin that are necks are pretty close. I think it's just nut filing and tuner install at this point

Still waiting on the neck to be finished up. I got a Quarter Pounder for the neck as well, so now it's Quarter Pounders in both the neck and bridge position. Redid the wiring as well, cleaned it up and made sure that it is working properly. Series/parallel switching and then a master phase flop switch
