Seeing them at a venue that big would trip me out.
Cool photos though!

It was outside on the grass to the side of the LA Coliseum. Twas a weird show. I think they played at the same time as Interpol or some crap and none of the Hipsters showed up (the few that asked me what band I was seeing had never heard of Boris...I probably stood out cause I was the guy in all black with the Amebix shirt and I was waiting for the free haircut...'cause I am cheap). Good for me! I took a ton more pictures but freakin' photobucket kept deleting them when I was editing? There was some crowdsurfing and stuff. The sound was remarkably good. I don't know what the noise maker the drummer was using, but it kinda looked like a MASF OSC from afar.
Ty Segall played after and irritated the piss out of me. BTW, if you really want to know what he used, and everyone in the band used, it was the same music man head and combo running into pillar 4x12 music man cabs. Even the bass player. Lame.
Back to Boris. I assume that the guitar is wired to the 2 Model T's and each one runs a cabinet with different settings. The bass is running off the orange with the aforementioned pedals. He plays more guitar than I thought before I saw them live. Lots of really low heavy guitar. He used the pedal board more during guitar parts it seemed. During the last drone song, he did detune his bass.
Wata...The Space Echos might have been wired straight the PA but they fed into each other. She was rocking the pedal board way more than Takeshi.

Been searching and asking what kind of noise maker he used the last 4 times I've seen them.
No success so far, but you're close.

when i saw them last i could have sworn it was an OSC03 running into a delay unit sitting at arm's reach from the drum throne

That's exactly what it is. I didn't realize this was a secret/privileged knowledge?
Here's his setup:
That's from 2013

Atsuo was VERY excited about his MASF noisemaker when I saw them on their Flood tour.
As far as that bass goes, I agree... that sounds almost clean...

It's not what he uses but The Elements or Cleaness into a toobs amp could probably get you there.
