ETA: April, for $299!
Oh man, I hope I have some extra cash around in April (not likely with the amount of stuff I've been buying lately  )

Hot dang!

Between this and the Prophet-6 I really wish I'd be a decent keys player. (And a lot richer than I am.)

The KORG ARP Oddyssey and Sequential (Yamaha gave the name rights back to Dave Smith thanks to the CEO of Roland!!!) Prophet 6 are the best newcomers in my eyes! What a fantastic decade we're in! It's like the late 70's again. Lots of analog gear - even true polyphonic units with VCOs! Man, that's like a dream! :!!!:

The Prophet is great, if expected. Akai is on an extremely short leash given how awful the Rhythm Wolf is. I was hyped for the Odyssey but feel like they crippled it by using the same shrink ray they shot at the MS-20. Honestly more excited by the MS-20 module kit with the little sequencer...

yea i haven't seen anyone really talking about that new korg ms20 + sequencer thing. looks neat.

akai is getting bashed hard. the synth is supposedly 4 rhythm wolf voices....

i have no idea cuz i don't really pay that much attention and almost never watch demo videos, but ppl really seem to hate them.

i'm just glad that i'm happy enough w/ working out the stuff that i already have instead of buying into the whole NAMM thing.

sure some of this stuff is cool, but i haven't really seen anything majorly groundbreaking or unique.

more synths? snooze. i love synths too!

Good thing they aren't trend followers and offering their customers remakes of one of their legendary synths! No one would want that! :picard:

Oh! Did you guys notice that the Korg SQ-1 is also designed to be able to sequence the Little Bits synth kits? Pretty cool.

I'd love for them to release additional "bits" modules that you could purchase to add to your kit for more advanced sounds and techniques.

What the... frog is that? Does the Roland really sound this bad? It's awful! In this demo it sounds like the crap that all the hyperactive kids play at maximum volume through their smartphones. :erm:

That would be awesome. I really haven't used my Little Bits for a long time, more bits might get me to use them more often
