++++ Non-muff fuzz with MIDS ++++

I love a good Jordan Bosstone sound but it might be a little too extreme opposite of a muff in contrasts to the question asked. My vote would be a TAFM! Definitely has some muff based frequency patterns but can do much much more and I've never not had it cut through in a band setting. And I've played it in some loud bands.

So much great suggestions, I knew I can count it on you pretty dudes. I ended up getting the TAFM from b/s/t, thanks for the headsup @neonblack! It's really about time for me to try it anyway. My amazing MINI needs its brother mayhem, it's a long time overdue.

The only one that pretty close to my situation was the Minifooger MF-Drive. The texture is almost there, If only it has higher gain. Funny but this pedal can sometimes get lost too even with its para-eq-esque tone control. That's why I probably need a super mid-honk-heavy unit since it's never a problem with my amazing MXR Classic Overdrive (ts), and I've been using it as a solo boost/filter. But I NEED to try the TAFM. Anyway, a the MF-Drive is a geat sounding gritty overdrive pedal, one of the best dirt pedals I've owned.

That Buzztone (mahoney) sounds REALLY really good tho, cheepz & HONKY fuzz for sure. I might snag it sometimes in the future!

I use a Stone Dead PDF1 at the end of my chain to add some mids.

One of the great things about the TAFM is how well it stacks. Put it at the end, turn the clean volume to unity and the fuzz volume to match, run your favorite dirt into it. It keeps some of the original character of your other dirt, but adds an additional layer of Awesome! on top.
