I'm liking the TNT, it's a good size and a great price that would allow me to also get the Bass VI faster. I'd love the Sunn amp, but I'm already pushing the boundaries of how little space one can have in their studio.

But maybe if I get the Sunn amp with a different cabinet though...

Cheap if you can find it that works with guitar are the Fender Sidekick 1x15s from the 80s. Similar to the Yamahas (MIJ, loud, clean, works with pretty much anything)

$100 half the time becuase there's no prestige in them.

Came to post this. Get an acoustic 370. It'll wipe the floor with that fucking sunn. Cheap solid state, loud as fuck and sounds killer. You can find an acoustic 150 really cheap and they sound great too. Might be a little underpowered for playing actual bass in a loud band, but it's fine for guitar. Might be alright for a bass vi. I'd go with the bigger one though.

I ended up buying the Sunn head, as the cab was sold, what cab would go well with it? Preferably something smaller.

i hate those heads so i would suggest throwing it in a lake or something. but seeing as you have it, hopefully you will love it and find it to be amazing. i don't know my ass from a hole in the ground anyway. for cabs, i'd look for a 1x15 with that thing. 10's sound like shit with guitar most of the time and a lot of 12's are iffy with bass. that head doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to properly push a 2x15 for the most part and it sounds like you want something small anyway. not sure what kind of 1x15, but that's what i'd look for. good luck and enjoy.

if you had the space, you should look for an old acoustic 2x15. this makes me sound like an acoustic sales rep or super fan or something. neither of which i am, but i used to have an old acc 2x15 that i used for guitar that sounded really good and i bet it would sound good for bass vi. it's smaller than your usual bass 2x15 and lighter too.

What's there to hate? I wanted a clean platform that wouldn't die on lower notes like my Rocktron. :idk:

I wouldn't really say the Concert Bass is a clean amp at all

Not what I meant by clean, sorry about that. I mean as in something that I can run pedals through.

Man, I love it, so I'm not exactly worried. 8DDD
