Considering the abuse this thing is likely to receive, the extremes of ebay cheap or egc massive expense but metal, are the way I would go. Lots of nice fender not squire stuff on ebay,

A squire neck without a headstock logo is completely indistinguishable from anything less than a custom shop american neck, sometimes even better. I would not think twice about going this route at all.
Just make sure its satin, like your rockstar bedsheets.

Some people have had success to with Dcknunkle or whatever on eBay. Again, also conversion necks. If you want to baritone your esquire you're going to have to go up to 28.5.
