It definitely sounds pretty good but I'm kind of disappointed; when I read the title I thought it was going to be some kind of fuzz+tremolo pedal.
I guess it gets a little trem like around the 4:00 mark in the PGS video :idk:

Sounds good but I never got along with the mastotron. And Im pretty sure I easily got a mastotron for not much more than 100 bones

Just played one of these in Sydney (one in the shop, not yet for sale) and really liked it. Tiny footprint, same box as the Mooers, made in the USA, plenty of good sounds. It's almost like two distinct fuzzes in one little box (leave the TWSS out of this). With the pulse width all the way to the left it has a ton of sustain; to the right it's gated and splatty as all get out, and there are lots of variations in between. Responded really well to the guitar's volume and tone pots, too, which is important when the controls are so simplified. For $129 it's probably a pretty good deal.

If it's as good as that $129 sounds like a great price, it's really cool to see zvex releasing some good value gear like this and the vexter things aren't too bad. Wonder how much it'll be by the time it reaches the UK though...

I'd consider picking one up if it wasn't for that stupid small enclosure. Side mounted jacks on a 1590a sized pedal take up more space than top mounted on a regular 1590b mxr size, and they are less stable when stomperated.

PGS demo was super nice.

I haven't played through one but heard the demo. Sounds like some of the sounds you can get out of the mammoth. I would say if you have the space and the extra bucks then get the mammoth.
