Yep, I have the 1x15 version. It measures 22" wide, 20" high, and is 10" deep at the top, 11" deep at the bottom.doommeow wrote:Aren't/weren't there both 210 and 115 versions of this amp? And of the same size? You should be able to do an easy baffle swap.

I have a XXX 2x12 open backed combo that sounds decent with a bari, but closed back cabs will always sound better for lower tunings, hence why there are no open backed bass cabs.Bon Hoga wrote:The bit that open back isn't good with baris... my drummer has an old solid state Marshall 2x12 open back combo, my bari sounds fantastic with it. Also, one of my favourite amps is a tiny Traynor 2x8" solid state combo (open back), TS something or other, sounds a lot better with a bari than with a regular guitar.

What I'm saying is that open-back amps/cabs can sound awesome with a bari. If you're arguing that an open back amp/cab would sound even better if it were closed, I don't disagree.theAntihero wrote:I have a XXX 2x12 open backed combo that sounds decent with a bari, but closed back cabs will always sound better for lower tunings, hence why there are no open backed bass cabs.Bon Hoga wrote:The bit that open back isn't good with baris... my drummer has an old solid state Marshall 2x12 open back combo, my bari sounds fantastic with it. I'm starting to think I should just sell off the DB and buy a low wattage head...
I love the amp for my jazzy and mustang, but I feel like I'm not treating their big brother bari' with the respect he deserves.
