^^ huh...that's interesting. I always used twine if I wanted to capo a single string, which I think (but am not positive) is a banjo thing. It only works on guitars with high action though , which unrelatedly I usually prefer anyways.

Just got a Shubb and I feel like a fool for not getting one years ago, soooo much better than the cheap Dunlop ones and it hardly even cost more
