+1 on the lp 60s tribute. the bodies are chambered, so the guitar is quite light. and the balance is better than an sg. here's one at a great price (it's the first version):

Aww shit if it is just the fatish neck that is the problem... Take a spokeshave to it, or a rasp and a file, or do it the long way and sand it down for a few hours. Once you got the shape you are looking for sand it smooth to 220 grit and ta dah! custom neck profile. Add oil finish to taste.

Though they're not P-90's, I really like the new mini-hums in my 2012 Firebird Studio 70's Tribute. They're like really fat single coils or something. Or really tight, bright humbuckers. Neck's not super fat, and it's not super heavy. Plus, it's a weird stripped down Firebird. Another option maybe.

Hmmm... looks like the '12 "tribute" models had P-90s in the 60s and humbuckers in the 50s. Now the '13 Tributes have P-90s in the 50s and humbuckers in the 60s. So the ones with P-90s now have fatter necks.
One great upgrade though is that most of them have Grover tuners instead of the basic Gibson ones. I'd never had Grovers until my new Casino and they're really good tuners. So I'd like to have those.
I think the front-runner is still the SG; I'll just have to take a look at the neck and see if I like it or if I could have it reduced.
Those chambered 60s LP Tributes with P-90s are discontinued, I guess. They're the '12 model.

The Tele has a mahogany body, which I like, and then I could maybe put a Warmoth mahogany 24.75" conversion neck on it.
Those are all beauties.

Those SGs are cool, but with the 50's Tribute I get Grover tuners, an arguably cooler finish, and the block inlays... at the cost of a thicker neck. Plus a friend of mine who went to NAMM this year and works for a dealer says the 2013 Tributes are built much better than the 2012s.

I don't think the 2012s are that hard to find. There are used ones out there of course, but my local shop still had 3 or so when I was in there last week. I'd imagine there would be a bunch of smaller shops scattered around that still have them.

Gibson Les Paul double cut are very light (it's chambered) and awesome to play. You just have to swap the pickup for P90 (humbucker size).
I personally prefer guitar with a fat neck and 25.5" scale.

I'd suggest a Prestige NYS because they about have what you want...

but they are a little heavy.. mine is anyway.. but damn it kills [and is green sparkle]

Also have you looked at Heritage? they do a thin neck
