im still leaning to the twosome pedal by blackout, the gnomeratron is a bit too psycadelic synthy and less rocky for me.

btw anybody got any info about the new very special twosome version of blackouts pedal.... i heard it has the blunderbuss instead of the musket for one side of the pedal. would cost me 70 bucks extra but on the plus side i heard its more punchy and it looks about 50 times better then the orange version

if you're wanna spend that much money on ONE and the key phrase is versatile, it'd be hard to beat the Gnomeratron. It seriously has everything in it, it's just a matter of finding it.
If you just wanna spend that much money though, get a few different ones. Browse our b/s/t and you can find some ballin ass deals. Or head over to http://fuzzhugger.com
and check out whats in stock, what tickles your fancy and what looks cool. Then come on back and ask us about it! :D

Yeah, Seriously Special Twosome.

I've got a Blunderbuss and I've been wanting a Fix'd Deluxe forever. I think it would cover your needs. The 'bus is definitely more punchy.

Most demos of the gnomeratron do sound pretty synthy but you really can get huge array tones out of it if you dig tweaking.

The twosome is an amazing pedal
The fixed boosting the blunderbuss is ear sex

I ended up getting rid of mine and just settling on a blunderbuss
I would have kept it but I was using the fixed for all my overdrive sounds and it wasn't working for me
Otherwise you can't go wrong with it. Fuzz 1 and fuzz 2 have some mean sounds in there

Blackout Twosome is definitely the way to go if you want versatility. The fix'd by itself is crazy versatile (clean boost to od to sputtery/synthy fuzz), but add in the musket/blunderbuss and you're set for fuzz tones. :thumb:

I lol'd at your budget...it's like those "find me a delay for under $500" threads they have on tgp
