I love these. OK Computer is so beautifully well done.
And I've actually done these before. It definitely struck me while programming that it would make people view the piece differently. If these were done in LSDj, then it's even more impressive, as you've got a limited number of channels.
Doing arrangements in that format is really difficult, as instruments are often split across multiple channels in order to fill the sound more. The way it works is that you have four channels and a noise channel (often used for hi-hats or cymbols). Each channel is monophonic, so in order to use more than 4 primary instruments at once, you have to move certain notes around to be able to fit on the channels inbetween other sounds. It's hard to explain, and I really just woke up.
Here's the track I did in LSDj with REALLY terrible vocals. If you listen through, you can see how I had to move around shit to fit. The bass tends to hit on offbeats in order to fit into those four tracks. Please don't listen to those vocals and think less of me. It's ~2 years old, and I had really just started singing.
