I've been hunting the -550 version for a few years now.

Rickenbacker8-string 4003, these were - for a short time - a readily available custom shop option in the nineties. There's one in FInland. Unfortunately, don't have a glue who has it now.

I actually owned an epi eh-0 for a little bit.
What are some other decent shortscale basses under 300usd? I want to do some Of Montreal kind of multi-bass harmonies.
