Nice, eh?

Yeah, not the most readable format, but there's some interesting info in there.

i have a wilson vintage spec 12 rippah booster wah (phew) that is fully customizable: bias, sweep range, q and boost. it is said to emulate all the classic circuits (trash can inductor, colorsound, crybaby...) i never played any of the originals but i totally dig the sound. so maybe just get rid of all the wahs you have and buy one wilson?

i've tried a few wilsons and teeses, but for some reason i just can't let go (or make the change) of my cae wah. it just sounds sooo good, and every option it holds is perfect. never thought i would say that about a dunlop pedal, but yeah...

Gull wah looks interesting. I have a feeling it is not inductor based but that is cool with me. Also, it has magnetic field sensor technology! So very sci-fi!

the perfect way depends so much on the rest of your gear/the sound you are going for. it's a lot like dirt in that way.

if you want classic Jimi/Clyde Mayfield style wah, the Wilson Signature vintage spec wah is great and at a nice price.
if you want something more tweakable, the 12 position Rippah is great, as are the Teese pedals, but those are spendy spendy.
i prefer the dumb old Dunlop enclosure, too.

If you have a problem, if current offerings aren't great and if you can find one...

You should contact...

The EHX Queen Triggered Wah!

Really awesome wah/auto wah with plenty of controls... might be tricky to track one down though.

i've been thinking about the Dunlop Jerry Cantrell wah. from the demos it seems to have the darker tone and wider sweep i'm looking for...most wahs seem to traverse the part of the range i like in about 20% of the pedal range, which makes them almost impossible for me to use standing up. or sitting down, for that matter. half the travel of a normal wah is unbearably screechy to me. for now i've been setting the EMMA DiscumBOBulator so it simulates the Stephen Stills/Michael Rother sort of wah attack, which it does nicely.

I've always been partial to the 535Q from Dunlop.

I have a Zakk Wylde Wah rehoused in a standard Crybaby enclosure. I recently replaced a broken switch and we forgot to put a washer back on so now it's 1000x easier to turn on and off. All of a sudden I want to use the stupid thing.
